Diploma in
Teaching - Primary Programme
Objectives:
The Diploma in Primary Teaching Programme aims to
educate and train teachers for the Grades 1-6 found
in the primary schools. Besides the core educational
and content curses, students are also challenged in
the second and third years to do an Advanced Subject
in a specialist area. Periodic updates are made
within the programme to facilitate local and
international trends in education. CASE offers the
programme in collaboration with the Joint Board of
Teacher Education (JBTE).
Career Options: It is expected that all
candidates graduating from this programme will find
employment in the primary school system, thereby
satisfying the strong demand for teachers in this
field.
