CASE’s Senior Management Team Undergoes Customer
Service Training
As part of a deliberate strategy to engender a “Student-First
Culture” at the College of Agriculture, Science &
Education (CASE), all members of the senior
management team – president, vice president, deans,
registrar, librarians, and directors – were trained
in customer service at a workshop held at the Rio
Vista Resorts, St. Margaret’s Bay, Portland, on
Tuesday, December 06, 2005.
Topics covered during the interactive, all-day workshop
included: the primacy of the student-customer; the
different types of student-customers; fundamental
needs of student-customers; and strategies for
developing and maintaining a student-first culture
at CASE. At the end of the workshop, the
participants committed themselves to providing
within their respective units service of the highest
quality to Student-Customers of CASE.
The workshop is the first in a series of training
interventions in customer service that are planned
for ALL categories of staff at CASE.
